Trivia
- Prior to V1.0, Water Newton had no exits and was very under-detailed. Despite considerable investment in enhancing it, the station still remains uninterested in by passengers and drivers alike.
- In V1.0, one of the two island platforms was demolished, with the singular remaining one still being used.
- Despite this station being named "Water Newton", there are no bodies of water nearby this station.
- A section of track near Water Newton has a terminating branch. This happened to Leighton City before V1.4.1.
