Trivia[]

  • Charlie_RBX sneak peeked the station on the discord server, with a caption of: "Couldn't really do up this line without giving the people of this village their rail service back, could I..."
    US sneak peek

    Upper Staploe's sneak peek.

    • It wasn't known that the slow tracks slightly diverge off the mainline to serve this station. The fast tracks are around 250 metres from here. This also happened with the sneak peek of East Berrily.
  • Before V1.8, there was only one route that stops at this station, R039, making it the least served station on the Stepford Connect network.
    • Eventually in V1.8, R003 and R025 along with the addition of R044, also started stopping here as well.
    • In 1.8.2, R045 was added, and it became the 5th route to call here.
  • This station, along with James Street, were both the only stations that do not have CIS Boards.
    • In V1.10, CIS Boards were added to James Street, which makes this station the only station in the SCR network with no CIS Boards.
  • This station has step-free access.
  • Before V1.8, this station was one of the two only stations served by Stepford Connect which do not have a route calling at Stepford Central, along with Millcastle Racecourse. It was also the only station on the entire Stepford Connect network at that time for not having a train going to any stations in Stepford City without interchange.
    • After the aforementioned update, the addition of R003 and R025 calling at this station provides direct services to the Stepford City Centre from here, and the two above traits have been transferred to the new Leighton West station.
  • The announcements for Platform 1 are known to play too early before the train arrives. This is likely due to the placement of the sensor much further away from the station. The same occurs for Platform 1 at New Harrow.
  • If players were to type the station's name in the chat, it would partially censor it so that it would say "##### #taploe", probably due to the Roblox chat filter thinks it might be used as a way to attempt saying the word "Uppers", a slang term for a type of illegal drug.
  • In V1.8.2, R045 was introduced, allowing services to Stepford Victoria from this station.
  • Upper Staploe does not have a single bench on the platforms or outside the station.
  • There is a road connecting Farleigh to this station, this also means Upper Staploe is quite near the Stepford Airport.
    • Before V1.10, this road used to lead out of Upper Staploe before floating above the baseplate without supports and then abruptly stopping in the middle of nowhere.
    • If one walked from this station to Farleigh, it would be faster than taking a train.
