Coxly is a through station served by Stepford Connect services to Willowfield, Beechley, Stepford Victoria, Stepford Central, St Helens Bridge, Port Benton, Stepford Airport Central, Airport Terminal 2, Leighton City, Edgemead, Westwyvern and Llyn-by-the-Sea.

This station has 2 sidings adjacent to it, Coxly Bypass Siding and Coxly Station Siding, which replaced the former Coxly Depot, which was also located near this station.

There were two upgrades to this station, the first was in Version 1.6, which demolished the old Coxly Rail Operations Centre which was located in the station building of Coxly. It was closed and unused after The Big Update. However, the room to the rail operations centre still remained at Coxly station. This upgrade changed the station layout, with the number of platforms decreasing to 3. The second was in Version 1.10, which gave minor upgrades to the station and the nearby sidings. This upgrade did not change the station layout.

The Transport For Stepford headquarters is located near this station, next to the crossing on the tracks towards Bodin, near the former Coxly Newtown station entrance.

Trivia[]

  • Before V1.6, at the top windows which could be seen from trains heading towards Benton, they were once home to the old signalling room, which was left empty before its removal. The one in use currently is the Stepford ROC. Before the refurbishment of Coxly in V1.6, players could still see its entrance, which was located at the front end of Platform 1 behind the signal. However, no one could enter anymore as it was completely locked up. There were two other entrances to the signalling room in the past, which were located at the station concourse and on Platform 2, but they were removed after its closure.

The Old ROC & Coxly Layout.

  • Before Version 1.6, the station had two eastbound platforms and three westbound platforms. Two of the westbound platforms (Platforms 4 and 5) have been removed in V1.6, probably due to low usage.
  • There are two passing tracks between Platforms 2 and 3 which are used by Stepford Express.
  • When Coxly Depot was in operation, drivers from the Stepford City Zone often have their TPWS systems kick in and activate the emergency brakes due to trains from the depot passing in front of them, and the signal system does not give way to trains on the main line first.
  • There is an abandoned underground Metro station, that was never used, next to Coxly towards Bodin, named Coxly Newtown. There are two entrances to the station just west of Coxly. The line was due to end at Coxly, but the line doesn't reach it. It is unknown if Metro platforms were ever built. Before V1.6, players could enter Coxly Newtown's platforms through trespassing. In V1.6, the entrance to Coxly Newtown became accessible, but the entrance was covered by a metal plate with a sign next to it stating: "Metro services no longer operate here. Please use Coxly Station just 5 minutes up the road", Since then, The platforms for Coxly Newtown has been inaccessible.
  • Formerly, Dispatcher Trainings were held here. Dispatcher trainings have also been held at Stepford United Football Club, Faymere and Willowfield in the past.
  • New players often overshoot this station from both Bodin and Benton as the speed limit on either side of the station is increased to 100 MPH and the players oftentimes do not pay attention to how close their next stop is.
    • SPAD traps also frequently happen at the eastbound platforms towards Benton as drivers spawning from Coxly Station Siding accidentally go past the signal, which is not at the end of the platform.
  • Players can walk from here to Stepford and Benton without trespassing.
