Trivia[]

  • The station resembles Charing Cross and Fenchurch Street in real life.
  • This station opened in V1.1, which was released on the 31st of December 2018.
  • This station is operated by Transport For Stepford presumably, due to the fact that Stepford Victoria and most other Stepford Connect stations have the Transport For Stepford branding.
  • Originally, this station was going to serve an operator called High Speed, which would have used a line adjacent to the Stepford Main Line to get onto the Morganstown Branch, where trains would have then used the unused southern section of a triangle junction at Morganstown to get back onto the Stepford Main Line. However, plans changed and the original route was demolished. The station was also planned to be served by Metro as a part of the Metro Loop. The station was completely rebuilt in V1.1, and the Tramlink stop adjacent to the station had to be demolished to make way for the new concourse.
  • This station was planned to serve three lines, but now only serves one.
  • It is most common to see the free Class 357 trains here due to the Stepford Victoria to Stepford Airport Central (R005) and Leighton City (R045) routes starting here, as they are the free starter routes. Players can also occasionally see Class 68 trains heading to places like Llyn-by-the-Sea.
    • Prior to V1.8.2, R009 services can be commonly seen here instead of R045 since R009 was previously a free route.
  • Prior to V1.4, this station had purple information boards, which made people think that Stepford Express would serve here.
  • Despite this station having more platforms than average, it is rare for more than three of them to be occupied at once.
  • This station lacks in detail in some areas. There is also little to no scenery, so players will be able to see Stepford Central’s scenery from this station.
  • This station is exactly parallel to Stepford Central and can be seen from Stepford Central with a high enough render distance and vice-versa.
  • Prior to V1.8, there was a "secret" route to Llyn-by-the-Sea that was not shown on the line map that starts at Stepford Victoria. It was R026, in which the occurrence of the route was rare as it is exclusive to the Class 68, the most expensive train in SCR that not many people own.
  • Getting to Stepford Central is quicker on foot than by train. It takes 1.5 minutes on foot and a minimum of 2 minutes by train (this is worsened by the Beechley Triangle often being congested).
  • This station is the terminus of the Stepford Victoria Branch.
  • Prior to V1.6, this station had no seats and ticket barriers.
  • Prior to V1.10.4, this station lacked ticket machines despite being a large station.
  • This station received an upgrade in V1.10.4, giving the station a new ticket office, a new seating area, ticket machines and some new named shops.
  • This station has step-free access.
  • This station has the most platforms for a single-operator station in the game.
