SCR Version 1.3 was the update where SCR made its first step into the next generation.
The update itself does not have a significant change in the network, however, due to the fact that the train models are significantly modified, the update was released as V1.3 instead of V1.2.12.
New in SCR Version 1.3
- Class 158 joins Stepford Connect as its first Next Generation train with proper interiors and doors.
- Class 508 joins WaterLine as its first Next Generation train.
- Few minor tweaks have been made to accomodate this release, and some new signs were introduced.
In The Future
It is planned to have all of the fleet replaced with the Next Generation type starting with the Class 185 operating in AirLink by the end of the year. Manual doors with buttons, on-board screens, interlock indicators in the cab, better bogies that are specific for each train, driver character, and more are planned future iterations of NG trains.
