R013, also previously called the Greenslade Shuttle by fans, is a Waterline route that runs from Benton to Greenslade. The route takes only 5 minutes to complete and it has a length of only 1.92 miles (3.09 kilometres).
This used to be both the shortest
Waterline route and the shortest route in the game in terms of length (3,089 metres), but R015 now holds the title (1,705 metres).
This route earns the most Points-Per-Minute (PPM) on average, at 6 PPM, provided that there are no delays at any point in time.
It is one of seven routes to terminate at
Benton, the others being R015 for Waterline; R039 and R044 for Stepford Connect; and R075, R079 and R085 for Stepford Express. The route has 3 interchange stations with
Stepford Connect. They are Benton, Port Benton and Whitney Green (via Beaulieu Park). Two stations on this route,
Morganstown Docks and Whitney Green, are long enough for only 3 car trains, with the 4th car hanging off the edge of the platform, meaning the Class 379, Class 319 and Class 165/1's 4th car cannot fit into those stations. This is one of two
Waterline routes that do not call at Newry, Eden Quay, Faraday Road or West Benton, the other is R015 ( ). Benton <> Morganstown Along with routes
R015 and Stepford Connect's R029, the highest speed-limits throughout the entire route are only at 75 MPH or lower (to match the max speed of the lowest max-speed trains). This was the first
Waterline route. Originally opening with just four stops, Morganstown Docks opened at a later date. Players cannot spawn in this route going westbound. To do so, players have to terminate at Greenslade and change directions.
NGv3 Class 379 bound for Greenslade at Port Benton.
