The Operations Director is the director responsible for the operations all around SCR, consisting of rank trainings, and the coordination of recruitment of Supervisors within the Driving, Dispatching, Guarding and Signalling departments, as well as the Operations department.

The job as an Operations Director was to direct all managers except for the Community Managers, and the Engagement Managers, to make sure that everything is running as smoothly as possible. If issues had to be taken further, then there is a chance they were taken to the Operations Director.

On the 22nd February 2021, hv9690 resigned, with Operations being directed by the Community Director after that, as well as restructures in management. On 5 February 2022, the role was reinstated, with AsmeSolent becoming the first OD after the role was re-added. On the 22nd of July 2023, AsmeSolent announced they were going to resign the day after in order to focus on other external and IRL commitments. On the 12th of August 2023, GameZotto was promoted to Operations Director.

This rank was formerly called [COO] Chief Operations Officer.
Similar to Mobile Operations Supervisor, this rank is one of two ranks to be reinstated after its removal.
There is a statue of Thehazad9, a former Operations Director, located at the entrance of Bodin. Players can climb the statue to get a special badge.
- When Mattyx2013 became the Operations Director, Thehazad9 became the Community Director.
Although AsmeSolent was promoted to Operations Director on 5 February 2022, there was no badge created for meeting them in-game until the 26th of May 2022.
