Next Generation trains are trains that include modeled interiors and working doors. There are currently 16 Next Generation trains (21 including all variants). Eventually, all trains will be upgraded to Next-Gen. Trains that have yet to be updated are commonly referred to as Legacy or Paper Trains.

Future (Currently TBA)
All trains will be next gen in the future. The following will become next gen at an unknown date after the above train(s) do(es). All trains are expected to receive Next Generation upgrades by the end of this year according to the update roadmap for SCR.
