Trivia

  • With a gap of only 0.24 miles (386 metres), Morganstown Docks and Port Benton are the two closest stations on the whole of Stepford County Railway network.
    • This beats Elsemere Pond and Elsemere Junction by just 0.02 miles, which have a distance of 0.26 miles between stations.
    • Because of the short distance between this station and Port Benton, there isn't enough time to play the "this train is now approaching" announcement between these stations.
  • It is possible to get off a train at this station, run to Port Benton and catch the same train due to the short distance.
  • This station and Whitney Green are the only stations on the SCR network where the platforms are only long enough for 3 coaches so the 4th coach is not on the platform, and it blocks the crossing if you're on Platform 2. Depending on where you stop the last coach may open. However, at stations such as East Berrily, it says that coach four will not open but It can perfectly fit 4 car trains but coach 5 will be left out in the open.
  • On the network map of V1.4, it shows that there will be a branch running from here to Morganstown in the future.
  • The Class 195/1 fits perfectly on the platforms.
  • Before V1.4.4, there are only three platforms at this station, with only platform 2 and 3 being used. Platform 4 was added in V1.4.4.
  • As of V1.4.4, platforms 1 and 4 are not in use, with platform 4 being inaccessible as there are no level crossing between platforms 3 and 4. Also, there are no buffers or walls at the end of the tracks of platform 4. The track of Platform 1 is extended noticeably beyond the station and ends near Port Benton, plus the buffers at the end of Platform 1 has been removed, showing a possibility of the shuttle being merged with other Waterline services.[Unconfirmed]
  • Mattyx2013 once said that the SCR team wants to add the Waterline shuttle but they do not know how to approach adding the shuttle (with issues being no depot, only 2 trains, etc). However, it appears that they have decided to have it as a branch of the part of Waterline to Greenslade.
  • Morganstown Docks is actually the newest station on the short R013 branch; before it was added trains had to go from Port Benton to Whitney Green or vice-versa before Morganstown Docks was added between those two station, making it an infill station.
  • This station has step-free access.
