The British Rail Class 444 Desiro is an electric multiple-unit manufactured by Siemens, in use on Stepford Connect. These trains are formed of 5 coaches and costs 2,500 points. It was added in Version 1.8.

- This is the second train introduced directly as NGv3, after the Class 168.
- This is one of only three trains in Stepford Connect where the doors are at the carriage ends, the other one being the Class 68's Mark 3 coaches and the Class 158.
- Additionally, the Class 444 and the Class 68 are the only trains to have single-leaf doors out of every Stepford Connect train.
- This will however change with the introduction of the Class 156 in Version 2.0.
- Additionally, the Class 444 and the Class 68 are the only trains to have single-leaf doors out of every Stepford Connect train.
- This train is the second most expensive train on Stepford Connect, costing 2,500 points, just behind the Class 68 at 3,000 points.
- It is also the only Stepford Connect train to cost 2,500 points.
- This train, along with the Class 68 are the only two Stepford Connect trains to have routes that are exclusive to these two trains (R026 (Stepford Victoria <> Llyn-by-the-Sea) and R036 (Willowfield <> Llyn-by-the-Sea)).
- This was the first train from the Desiro family to be meshed.
- Since the Class 465's removal in V1.10.12, this train is speculated to possibly be removed due to it being third rail only both in real life and in-game, which was the reason given for the removal. This also affects the Class 458 and Class 508.
