Experience is a feature in SCR where it shows how much a player plays. You can obtain Experience from driving, dispatching, guarding and signalling. Your experience is listed next to your points, on the very top of the screen.
Training for different ranks also requires an amount of experience, e.g: to attend QD training you need 60 experience.
How to get[]
- Driving: Experience will be given by station count. You will earn 1 experience for every station you stop at (if you accidentally pass a station, that doesn't count), and you will only earn experience when you complete a route (if you exit halfway through without completely finishing, you won't earn any experience for that route).
- Dispatching: 1 experience will be given per train you dispatch.
- Guarding: 1 experience will be given every time you dispatch your train from a station.
- Signalling: 1-3 experience will be given to players per minute when signalling, depending on how busy the signal zone is at the time.
Use[]
- Unlock the ability to purchase some routes, Class 68 and Class 345
- Required for Qualified Driver, Dispatcher and Guard training. 60 experience for QD, 360 experience for DS, and 540 experience for GD.
Trivia[]
- Experience is technically a system to identify how much has a player has been actively playing in SCR. For example, if a player has 600 experience and is not a Signaller, it means the player has actively played for at least 600 minutes (10 hours). So, taking QD training requires a player actively playing at least 1 hour at one time, and taking DS training requires a player actively playing at least 6 hours at one time and 9 hours for GD training.
- Experience cannot be spent, purchased, or lost in any way.
