Trivia
- The newest station model is based on Dockyard station in Devonport, Plymouth, England.
- Prior to The Big Update, there was no water beneath the station, and no buildings surrounding it. It was on the grass surrounded by bushes, with no exit and no scenery.
- Before Version 1.9:
- This was one of the few stations in the game that did not have a road near their entrance. The other stations with this trait are Stepford Airport Central, Airport Terminal 1, Airport Terminal 2, and Airport Terminal 3.
- This was the only overground station on the entire SCR network that did not have a direct, ground-level entrance.
- Airport Terminal 1 also has this trait, however it is situated underground.
- This was the only station to be completely above water (even the entrances).
- This was the only station to have a tilted station sign.
- This was the only elevated station on Waterline.
- The station was not dispatchable.
- This was the only station in SCR that was built on a quay/river.
- Financial Quarter does not count because it is only above a river and not built on a river. In other words, it is not entirely on water
- If the player goes around the harbour, they will come across a foot crossing.
- This station has step-free access, but for Platform 2 only, as there is a short staircase at the entrance to Platform 1.
- Hence, passengers requiring step-free access will have to take a northbound train to Newry for inverse changing if they wish to travel southbound from this station.
- As of V1.9, this is the only Stepford Express station which is not fully step-free.
- Members of the SCR Community often call this station in a parodical name - "Eden Quack".
- Eden Quay is somewhat an "icon" station for Waterline, due to the number of Waterline adverts featuring this station and the scenic view of the lights on the buildings, especially at night.
- There is an underpass to the south of the station entrances, which you can walk under.
- This station can be difficult for Dispatchers as the only way to switch platforms is by exiting the station, walking across a bridge, and then re-entering the station. This may cause slight delays for trains.
- This is the only Express station where a short platform announcement can be heard. The only train featuring this announcement is the Class 801, on which only the front 4 coaches fit into the station.
- There is a real-life quay of the same name located in the Republic of Ireland.
