Announcements is a feature in SCR. Announcements can be heard on all trains and stations
Station Announcements
Station announcements are spoken by a man with a strong UK accent (some people know who he is) , example: "Platform () for the 00:00 Stepford Connect (or WaterLine) service to (station) calling at (stations) this train has (number) coaches."
Another type of announcement is when a train arrives at a station to terminate. This format is: "The train now approaching Platform () terminates here. This train is the service from: (station). If the train is arriving from a depot, then (station) is the station after the depot. Coxly Depot->Coxly, Benton Depot->Benton, Faraday Road depot->Faraday Road, Whitney Green Depot->Whitney Green, Leighton Depot->Leighton Stepford Road.
At Rocket Parade, there is a special announcement played there if a Leighton City or St. Helen's Bridge train is approaching the station. This announcement format is: "The train now approaching Platform () does not stop here. Please stand back from the platform edge." It is played in such situations like this because Leighton City and St. Helen's Bridge trains do not stop at Rocket Parade.

at 0.19 miles from a station: This train is now approaching: (station)

Short Platform announcements
At Whitney Green and Morganstown Docks, If you have a Four-car train, the Announcer will say "Due to a short platform, the doors in coach 4 will not open at this station"
